Double Cute!
Photographing caged-bird is a lot more easier and cheaper compared to photographing them in the wild. But photographing them is not that easy either especially for birds that easily alarmed. Like mine, first they were so afraid of camera. Whenever my camera moves near them, they fly frantically so I must hold a position for a while and then they start to ignore the camera.
Tips:
- “introduce” your camera to them often to make them comfortable, and they will act naturally. Like the “Feather Shake” above, she was doing her routine feather cleaning.
- eye contact is essential in making good animal photograph, so “talk” to them or draw their attention toward your camera.
- Capture them interacting with each other
